Interesting fact, it takes 477 miles once you leave the New York state line, via   I-95 to reach Rocky Mount, NC. And it also takes 484 miles to reach Rocky Mount, NC, via I-95 from Florida. At some point, some lone traveler figured this all out for us. Because of this interesting fact, Rocky Mount, NC has been appointed as the “Family Reunion Capital of the WORLD”!

Okay, maybe just the eastern seaboard, but world sounds much more impressive.  It only makes sense for the families that are spread up and down the coast to meet in a neutral place, so why not Rocky Mount, NC?
