Kinseth Hospitality Companies Kicks First Quarter 2017 Off Right

It was a busy first quarter 2017 for Kinseth Hospitality Companies. The following highlights are from Q1. Congratulations to our team and to all of the individuals involved in the following projects. 

Grand Opening Celebration Home2 Suites Brookfield, Wisconsin

Kinseth Hospitality Company (KHC) is pleased to announce the opening of the Home2 Suites by Hilton Brookfield, located at 650 Larry Court, Wausheka Wisconsin. An official grand opening celebration took place on January 19 to give everyone in the Brookfield/Waukesha community and the surrounding areas a glimpse of what this newly opened hotel has to offer. 

With 130 guests in attendance Keith Henderson - Town of Brookfield Chairman, Carol White – Brookfield Chamber of Commerce Member, Lori Choinski – Brookfield Chamber of Commerce Board Chair, Nancy Justman - Brookfield Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, and Bruce Kinseth – Kinseth Hospitality Vice President, shared their excitement about the now open Home2 Suites Brookfield. The extended stay hotel will be managed by Kinseth Hospitality Companies. 

According to Bruce Kinseth, President of Kinseth Hospitality Companies, “What an incredible way to celebrate the grand opening of the hotel! We feel that the Home2 Suites will provide the area with a truly first-class, medium-priced, hotel great for families and extended stays.” 

The all suite extended stay hotel will provide guests with the amenities they need to enjoy life while traveling such as an outdoor walking trail, and saline pool. All Home2 Suites by Hilton hotels offer easy access to technology and inviting community spaces, as well as the trademark Home2 Suites amenities standard in all properties, such as the Oasis lobby area, the Home2 MKT for grab-and-go items, the Spin2 Cycle, a combined laundry and fitness area, and free continental breakfast at the Inspired Table that includes a variety of morning favorites like a hot breakfast sandwich.

Kinseth Celebrates 40 Years at Annual Leadership Conference! 
Pictured above, the Kinseth Family Management team includes (Left to right) Shana Craven (Daughter of Linda), Ben Kinseth (Son of Bruce), Linda Skinner and husband Keith Skinner, Bruce Kinseth, Gary Kinseth, and Les Kinseth and wife Alisa Kinseth. These four Kinseth siblings and their families have grown this company from one hotel into the company it is today with nearly 70 hotels! Congratulations on this wonderful achievement!

The annual Kinseth Leadership Conference took place on February 26 - 28, 2017. A main focus of the event was the celebration of reaching the 40 year mark of Kinseth Hospitality. To kick the event off a 70's theme party ensued, complete with 70's attire, music, and games!

Kinseth Hospitality Company (KHC) broke ground on Tru by Hilton,
in St. Charles, Missouri.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the Tru by Hilton, located at 333 Camelback Road, took place on March 23, 2017. To kick-off the event Kathleen Brill, Sr. Vice President and Director of Leasing at Cullinan Properties, Ltd.; Ben Kinseth, Director of Operations at Kinseth Hospitality Companies; City of St. Charles Mayor Sally Faith; St. Charles Councilwoman Laurie Feldmanand; and Scott Tate, President and CEO, of Greater St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce each shared their excitement for the project. Following, a group of investors broke ground on the coming Tru by Hilton hotel which will offer guest rooms and amenities for both leisure and business guests.

It has a vibrancy with all of the nearby restaurants and attractions creating endless amounts of excitement that will draw many travelers. Tru by Hilton is a fresh new product grounded in value, with the perfect mix of a high energy development, great value rooms, and a new efficient design. We’re excited to be a part of the Streets of St. Charles and the greater St. Louis community.” 

The 87 room, 5 story hotel is owned by St. Charles Hotel Associates, LLC., and will be managed by Kinseth Hospitality Companies. It is expected to be completed in first quarter 2018.

Additional Recognition For Our Hotels;
The Ankeny Diner - has been placed in the Top 10 of Iowa's Best Burgers by the Iowa Beef Industry Council. The winner will be announced on May 1st. Congratulations!

Courtyard by Marriott Columbia - General Manager, Brandon Boyer of Columbia Courtyard Marriott, received the "General Manager of the Year" award at the Convention and Visitor Bureau Annual Awards Banquet for Hotels in Columbia, MO! Congratulations Brandon!

Hampton Inn & Suites Minooka - was honored with the "Welcome to Grundy County" award at the annual dinner hosted by the Grundy Economic Development Council in conjunction with the Grundy County Chamber on March 22, 2017 in Minooka, IL!

Country Inn & Suites Middleton - was presented with the 2016 Country Inn & Suites President's Award. The Award is presented to the hotels that achieved top scores in guest satisfaction as measured by guest feedback for cleanliness and consistency in meeting (and often exceeding) the brand’s product quality standards. Jeffrey Freund, senior vice president for Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, presented the award to Rob Wartella, General Manager of the Country Inn & Suites Middleton for the achievement.
